A Deals Colony Initiative: Global Citizen Youth Programs for Gen Z & Alpha

Beyond Screens: Where Safety, Wellbeing & Confidence Thrive
Our Why

In a hyper-digital world, children are more connected—but less equipped. Passive scrolling is costing them sleep, wellbeing, and self-worth. We flip the script. At HHHJ, we fuel a movement where creativity, community, and capability converge—giving young people the tools to swap screen time for skill time. Through hands-on, goal-driven programs aligned with the Global Goals, we unlock purpose, spark innovation, and boost confidence. Because when kids build skills—not just feeds—they don’t just keep up with the world. They shape it.

Our Mission

Empowering youth to turn screen time into skill time—driving the Global Goals through hands-on learning, entrepreneurship, and wellbeing. Inspired by children, created for children—our digital content aims to reach over 50 million young minds worldwide.

Meet The HHHJ Young Team

Happy Hobby Hour Jr. is about helping kids minimize their screentime while having fun, learning new things and socialising with kids of their own age. I personally like HHHJ because it’s fun, I learn new things and I have gotten more friends by socialising with kids of my own age when I would normally be stuck on a screen. I got benefited by HHHJ by becoming screen smart (along with being smarter in general) getting more friends, doing more active play and I also get more family time.

My goals are to get neater handwriting, inspiring 500 kids and talking to the PM. Thanks for listening to my opinion of what HHHJ can help me with and how it is already benefiting me.

Our Story

The Journey of HHHJ: From Passion Project to Social Enterprise #BBUST – Bye Bye Unneeded Screen Time! Happy Hobby Hour Junior (HHHJ) began during lockdown as a heartfelt passion project between a mum and her 10-year-old son, Ruhaan K, who wanted to help himself and his friends break free from screen addiction. From that simple idea sparked in a living room, HHHJ has grown into a global social enterprise dedicated to transforming passive tech time into active purpose for youth aged under 18 and 18+. Using a Personal Interest Driven & Goals-Based approach, HHHJ fosters confidence, leadership, and digital wellbeing among young people. While it began as a screen time management program for school children, its reach now extends to young adults through initiatives rooted in education, creativity, and resume-building—building future-ready mindsets through passion-led projects. Our growth journey started with a five-month pilot for under-18s, focused on transforming screen time into skill time. We then launched a community-wide initiative that inspired over 500 young participants, collaborated with 50+ businesses, raised $5,000 for sick children, and cultivated a strong network of 300+ youth members. In our third phase, we partnered with Deals Colony and another youth-led enterprise to support migrant youth aged 18 and above through inclusive pathways such as internships and community enterprise initiatives. Today, HHHJ is a registered social enterprise (awarded 2024) with an ambitious goal: to reach 50 million youth by 2032 through digital education, mentoring, and global collaboration. We offer two types of programs: Paid Programs – Designed for institutions and partners, these focus on holistic personal growth through screensmart workshops, camps, and forums covering media literacy, life skills, STEAM, entrepreneurship, public speaking, resume-building, and cross-cultural collaboration. Free Programs – Centered on digital wellbeing awareness, these initiatives inspire youth to become advocates for mindful screen use. Through creative campaigns and live videos, participants share screen-smart ideas and digital detox strategies. Our upcoming “Plant a Tree for Every Winning Idea” campaign turns digital awareness into environmental action. Our purpose-driven approach has impacted diverse communities—amplified by 30+ sponsorships and support from 50+ local businesses and individuals. With partners like Deals Colony, HHHJ delivers measurable youth outcomes aligned with the Global Goals. Our Impact Model: Since becoming a social enterprise, we co-create programs with communities, charities, and youth-led initiatives—placing impact over ownership. Through our YouthLink program, we empower aligned partners to lead while scaling the ripple effect. Whether you’re a school, library, university, community group, or corporate team—join us in saying: #BBUST – Bye Bye Unneeded Screen Time! Hello Skill Time!
