💡 WHO WE ARE
Deals Colony is a registered Australian social enterprise founded in 2014 by Monika K, an experienced IT consultant and certified business strategist. Based in North Brisbane, we provide budget-friendly, innovative solutions and dedicated support for purpose-driven entrepreneurial ventures. We specialise in transforming passion into purpose—co-creating sustainable, scalable, and grant-aligned projects that deliver measurable economic, social, and environmental impact.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity, fostering a happier, more equitable world. We collaborate with women, youth, elders, migrants, and grassroots charities, partnering with individuals, schools, and communities to design values-aligned initiatives that build confidence, enhance capacity, and strengthen long-term community resilience.
🚧 The Problem We Solve
Community-led initiatives and purpose-driven groups often face barriers such as limited digital access, unclear growth strategies, burnout due to multiple responsibilities, capacity constraints (time, money, resources), or underdeveloped business models. These challenges prevent great ideas from becoming sustainable or scalable. We address these pain points through inclusive mentoring, wellbeing-first planning, capacity-building programs, and practical tools that transform early-stage ideas into sustainable, fundable ventures.
📊 Why This Matters
There is a significant economic and social gap waiting to be filled. According to the 2021 ABS Census, over 34,829 people in Brisbane, 138,714 in Queensland, and 646,000 nationally were unemployed and seeking meaningful opportunities. By 2023, more than 740,000 Australians (ages of 16 and 64) were receiving JobSeeker payments—costing over $15,749 per person per year. In Queensland alone, 1 in 5 people reported a mental or behavioural condition in 2017–18. These figures highlight a national challenge—but also a potential workforce and innovation pipeline. Our programs are designed to address this intersection of unemployment, mental wellbeing, and lack of scalable support—offering councils, governments, and CSR teams a value-for-money, community-first solution that builds resilience, participation, and long-term economic contribution.
⚙️ How We Help
We align our work with local, state, and national objectives—driving economic outcomes (microenterprise growth, skills development), social outcomes (increased participation, confidence, and wellbeing), and environmental outcomes (circular economy, low-waste, digital adoption). Our services are collaborative, turnkey, and tailored to support councils, governments, and CSR teams looking to invest in real impact, visibility, and lasting community value.

Testimonial
I had a great experience working with Deals Colony for setting up my charity. They were extremely helpful, professional, and truly dedicated to the work. The team was well-organised, methodical, and passionate about helping us succeed.
What really stood out was how they took the time to understand our vision, goals, and objectives. They created a clear 12-month plan covering everything from products and services to resourcing, volunteering, and using social media to reach our audience.
Deals Colony made a real difference, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for business setup consultancy!
