Garden pots and planters: a school project

The problem. Spare pots are bulky, so they get dumped rather than reused. Who it helps. A school: students learning how leftover stock can be sold again, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. Intact garden pots and planters. What is delivered. Pots are scrubbed, grouped by size and paired with seedlings from a local swap. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Pots reused and swaps held are counted. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Weight and weather limit where pots can be used. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
