E waste sorting day: a workplace project

The problem. Reusable parts are thrown out with broken ones. Who it helps. A workplace team backing the project. The people helped are households and small groups with old devices. A named team lead runs it alongside normal work, and taking part is voluntary. How progress is known. Items sorted by type are tallied. A short summary is shared with your team, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Hazardous items are never opened, and licensed recyclers take the rest.
