Capability statement draft: a workplace project

The problem. Small businesses struggle to describe themselves. Who it helps. A workplace team backing the project. The people helped are very small local businesses preparing to sell to larger buyers. What you start with. A short list of services and past work. What is delivered. A one page capability statement is written in plain language. A named team lead runs it alongside normal work, and taking part is voluntary. How progress is known. The statement is finished and reviewed. A short summary is shared with your team, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. A statement describes what you do. It does not replace references. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
