Paper and card wraps: a school project

The problem. Paper scraps are recycled once when they could be wrapped and tagged again. Who it helps. A school: students designing low waste packs, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. Clean paper and card scraps. What is delivered. Paper is folded into wraps, tags and small boxes with simple hand stamps. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Wraps and tags made are counted. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Paper wraps give little protection to fragile gifts. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
