Community innovation workshop series: a council program

The problem. Residents lack practical workshops. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping community groups that want a funded local project. What you start with. A library or hall and a facilitator. What is delivered. A short series is run on a local need. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. Sessions held and attendance are recorded. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Venue and insurance limit numbers. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
