Local supply chain map: a workplace project

The problem. Local suppliers do not know each other. Who it helps. A workplace team backing the project. The people helped are very small local businesses preparing to sell to larger buyers. What you start with. A list of nearby inputs and customers. What is delivered. Links are drawn between local suppliers, makers and buyers. A named team lead runs it alongside normal work, and taking part is voluntary. How progress is known. Links drawn are counted. A short summary is shared with your team, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Maps date quickly. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
