Twilight makers market: a school project

The problem. Daytime markets miss people who work. Who it helps. A school: students and families running a school stall, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. A handful of local makers and a venue. What is delivered. An evening market is run with a small food stall. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Makers who took part and visitors are noted. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Lighting, safety and noise limits apply. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
