Neighbourhood support network: a school project

The problem. Neighbours do not know who to call. Who it helps. A school: school families looking for connection, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. A street or suburb contact list, with consent. What is delivered. Neighbours agree how to check in on each other and who to call for what. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Neighbours who joined are noted. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. It builds goodwill. It does not replace emergency services. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
