Spare plywood wall decor: a council program

The problem. Wall decor from a closed shop has no buyer and no home. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping small makers, stallholders and neighbours holding leftover stock. What you start with. Plywood wall decor left from a closed shop. What is delivered. Pieces are cleaned, repainted in a small colour range and shown as a prototype line. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. Pieces finished and enquiries received are written down. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. A prototype line may not sell, and that result is recorded too. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
