Weekend pop up stall: a school project

The problem. Makers do not know if a product will sell. Who it helps. A school: students and families running a school stall, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. A table, a small range and a clear price list. What is delivered. A single weekend stall tests two or three products. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Items sold and customer comments are recorded. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Weather, foot traffic and fees vary. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
