Online shop starter: a community group project

The problem. Makers have no online shop. Who it helps. A community group working together, helping creators and freelancers who want to earn from a skill. What you start with. A few products and a free shop template. What is delivered. A small shop is set up with accurate descriptions. A small group works through it together, week by week. How progress is known. Products listed are counted. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. Consumer law applies to all listings. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
