AI starter session on reused devices: a school project
The problem. People feel left out of AI tools and unsure how to use them safely. Who it helps. A school: students learning from donated hardware, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. A reused laptop and a plain explainer. What is delivered. A short session covers one safe task, with any AI assisted work clearly disclosed. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Tasks learned are ticked off. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. AI answers must be checked before use, and privacy comes first. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Any AI assisted work is disclosed and checked before it is used. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
