Digital templates: a council program

The problem. Skills in design or planning are not packaged for anyone else. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping hobbyists with an idea they want to test. What you start with. A template idea and free design tools. What is delivered. One template is made and offered at a low price. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. Downloads and buyer comments are recorded. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. Digital goods need clear licence terms. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
