Wax melts from remnants: a school project

The problem. Leftover wax is thrown out and pouring skills are hard to practise. Who it helps. A school: students and people with different abilities making side by side, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. Wax remnants and clean tins. What is delivered. Pouring, labelling and boxing are shared out by preference. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Melts made and tasks each person learned are recorded. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. Hot wax needs close supervision. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
