Kid run fundraising playdate: a community group project

The problem. Children want to help others but have no practical way to start. Who it helps. A community group working together, helping children aged 8 to 14 and their parents. What you start with. A simple stall, games and a chosen cause. What is delivered. Children choose a cause, plan the day and run a short fundraiser, with adults supporting. A small group works through it together, week by week. How progress is known. Planning steps done and funds raised are written down. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Handling money needs an adult treasurer and clear records. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. Deals Colony has run or described this kind of project before, under Youth Leadership and Life Skills (HHHJ). Your version is a fresh trial and its results are not promised.
