E waste sorting day: a council program

The problem. Reusable parts are thrown out with broken ones. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping households and small groups with old devices. What you start with. A table, gloves and sorted bins. What is delivered. Items are sorted into reuse, parts and recycling with a safety briefing. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. Items sorted by type are tallied. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Hazardous items are never opened, and licensed recyclers take the rest. Any AI assisted work is disclosed and checked before it is used. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet. Start with a free Initial Assessment for Your Idea.
