Interview confidence group: a council program
The problem. Confidence drops after time away from work. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping mums and other carers returning to paid work. What you start with. Your own stories and a supportive group. What is delivered. Members practise short stories of strengths with kind feedback. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. Practice sessions attended are noted. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. It builds confidence. It does not promise an offer. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
