E waste sorting day: a community group project

The problem. Reusable parts are thrown out with broken ones. Who it helps. A community group working together, helping households and small groups with old devices. What you start with. A table, gloves and sorted bins. What is delivered. Items are sorted into reuse, parts and recycling with a safety briefing. A small group works through it together, week by week. How progress is known. Items sorted by type are tallied. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Hazardous items are never opened, and licensed recyclers take the rest. Any AI assisted work is disclosed and checked before it is used.
