Digital skills lab from reused hardware: a community organisation project

The problem. People without devices cannot practise digital skills. Who it helps. A charity or community organisation delivering it, helping households and small groups with old devices. What you start with. A handful of tested machines. What is delivered. A small lab runs short sessions on safe, everyday tasks. Your organisation leads delivery with support from the Deals Colony team. How progress is known. Sessions held and tasks learned are noted. A short summary is shared with your board or members, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Machines vary in speed, so sessions stay simple. Any AI assisted work is disclosed and checked before it is used. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet. Start with a free Initial Assessment for Your Idea.
