Goal vial and wish list: a community organisation project
The problem. Goals stay vague, so children lose track of them. Who it helps. A charity or community organisation delivering it, helping children aged 8 to 14 and their parents. What you start with. Small jars, paper strips and a set of goals. What is delivered. Each child writes goals on strips and tracks progress with a visible jar. Your organisation leads delivery with support from the Deals Colony team. How progress is known. Goals written and goals reached are tallied. A short summary is shared with your board or members, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Goals stay small enough to feel reachable. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
