Twilight makers market: a council program

The problem. Daytime markets miss people who work. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping makers and neighbours who want to try a stall. What you start with. A handful of local makers and a venue. What is delivered. An evening market is run with a small food stall. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. Makers who took part and visitors are noted. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Lighting, safety and noise limits apply. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
