Local supply chain map: a school project

The problem. Local suppliers do not know each other. Who it helps. A school: students exploring how local businesses supply bigger buyers, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. A list of nearby inputs and customers. What is delivered. Links are drawn between local suppliers, makers and buyers. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Links drawn are counted. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Maps date quickly. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
