Reusable pack assembly: a school project

The problem. Assembly work is hard to find for people who need a gentle start. Who it helps. A school: students and people with different abilities making side by side, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. Reusable bags, wraps and inserts. What is delivered. A simple assembly line is set up around the steps each person prefers. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Packs assembled and training hours are recorded. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. Quality checks must be built in without singling anyone out. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
