Live show for young hosts: a community group project

The problem. Children rarely get to practise speaking about what they love. Who it helps. A community group working together, helping children aged 8 to 14 and their parents. What you start with. A phone or tablet, a quiet corner and a simple script. What is delivered. Young hosts plan a short live show on a topic they love, with a practice run first. A small group works through it together, week by week. How progress is known. Shows planned and practised are noted. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Online safety rules apply, and a parent approves every post. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. Deals Colony has run or described this kind of project before, under Youth Leadership and Life Skills (HHHJ). Your version is a fresh trial and its results are not promised.
