Ebay selling trial: a community organisation project

The problem. People do not know how to start selling online. Who it helps. A charity or community organisation delivering it, helping creators and freelancers who want to earn from a skill. What you start with. Items you no longer use or make. What is delivered. A small batch is listed with clear photos and honest descriptions. Your organisation leads delivery with support from the Deals Colony team. How progress is known. Items listed and sold are counted. A short summary is shared with your board or members, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. Fees and postage reduce profit. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
