Repacking and labelling: a community organisation project
The problem. Reusable stock is never repacked. Who it helps. A charity or community organisation delivering it, helping university and senior students who want a first paid role. What you start with. Leftover cartons and plain labels. What is delivered. Students repack stock into tidy, labelled sets. Your organisation leads delivery with support from the Deals Colony team. How progress is known. Paid hours and sets packed are recorded. A short summary is shared with your board or members, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. Packing takes practice, and early mistakes are expected. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
