Refurbished laptop loans: a community organisation project

The problem. People without a laptop miss out on study and work. Who it helps. A charity or community organisation delivering it, helping households and small groups with old devices. What you start with. Donated laptops, cleaned and reset. What is delivered. Laptops are checked, wiped and lent for a short term. Your organisation leads delivery with support from the Deals Colony team. How progress is known. Laptops lent and returned are recorded. A short summary is shared with your board or members, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Hardware age and battery health limit use. Any AI assisted work is disclosed and checked before it is used. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet. Start with a free Initial Assessment for Your Idea.
