Office e-waste reuse: a council program

The problem. Old office equipment is thrown out while it still works. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping people who run or work in small offices, workspaces and event teams. What you start with. Old office computers, phones and cables. What is delivered. Devices are checked, wiped by a qualified person and passed on or sent to a licensed recycler. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. Devices checked, reused or recycled are counted. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Data wiping must be done properly, and unsafe items go to licensed recyclers. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet. Start with a free Initial Assessment for Your Idea.
