Idea assessment: a council program

The problem. It is hard to tell whether an idea is worth the time. Who it helps. A council or library team hosting it, helping hobbyists with an idea they want to test. What you start with. One idea you already have. What is delivered. A personal assessment looks at the idea, who it is for and the next small step. A community officer hosts it with local partners and follows progress. How progress is known. A clear next step is agreed and written down. A short summary is shared with the council, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is a pathway to work, training or a first venture for the people taking part. Honest limits. An assessment gives a view. It does not decide for you. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
