Weekend pop up stall: a community organisation project

The problem. Makers do not know if a product will sell. Who it helps. A charity or community organisation delivering it, helping makers and neighbours who want to try a stall. What you start with. A table, a small range and a clear price list. What is delivered. A single weekend stall tests two or three products. Your organisation leads delivery with support from the Deals Colony team. How progress is known. Items sold and customer comments are recorded. A short summary is shared with your board or members, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Weather, foot traffic and fees vary. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
