Water marble painting on plywood: a community organisation project
The problem. People have no easy way to try a making technique before buying supplies. Who it helps. A charity or community organisation delivering it, helping people who want to learn to make with discarded materials. What you start with. Plain plywood pieces and water based paints. What is delivered. The marbling bath is set up and test pieces are dipped before the real ones. Your organisation leads delivery with support from the Deals Colony team. How progress is known. Pieces made and skills tried are noted at the end of each session. A short summary is shared with your board or members, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Patterns cannot be repeated exactly, and that is part of the challenge. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. Deals Colony has run or described this kind of project before, under Creative Reuse Workshops. Your version is a fresh trial and its results are not promised. Start with a free Initial Assessment for Your Idea.
