Weekend pop up stall: a workplace project

The problem. Makers do not know if a product will sell. Who it helps. A workplace team backing the project. The people helped are makers and neighbours who want to try a stall. What you start with. A table, a small range and a clear price list. What is delivered. A single weekend stall tests two or three products. A named team lead runs it alongside normal work, and taking part is voluntary. How progress is known. Items sold and customer comments are recorded. A short summary is shared with your team, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Weather, foot traffic and fees vary. Items are described accurately, in line with Australian consumer law, and custom made or refurbished items are disclosed. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
