Supplier readiness map: a workplace project

The problem. Small businesses do not know what they already offer a buyer. Who it helps. A workplace team backing the project. The people helped are very small local businesses preparing to sell to larger buyers. What you start with. What a small business already holds in skills, stories, products and contacts. What is delivered. Assets are mapped against buyers that matter, with gaps and next steps listed. A named team lead runs it alongside normal work, and taking part is voluntary. How progress is known. Items marked ready, nearly ready or not yet are counted. A short summary is shared with your team, with names and personal details left out. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Readiness is not the same as winning work. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
