Supplier readiness map: a school project
The problem. Small businesses do not know what they already offer a buyer. Who it helps. A school: students exploring how local businesses supply bigger buyers, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. What a small business already holds in skills, stories, products and contacts. What is delivered. Assets are mapped against buyers that matter, with gaps and next steps listed. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Items marked ready, nearly ready or not yet are counted. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Readiness is not the same as winning work. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
