Water marble painting on plywood: a school project

The problem. People have no easy way to try a making technique before buying supplies. Who it helps. A school: students learning to make with discarded materials, with a teacher in charge. What you start with. Plain plywood pieces and water based paints. What is delivered. The marbling bath is set up and test pieces are dipped before the real ones. It fits a school term, with the teacher in charge of timing and safety. How progress is known. Pieces made and skills tried are noted at the end of each session. Main purpose. The main purpose is access to a useful product or service, or less waste going to landfill, for the community. Honest limits. Patterns cannot be repeated exactly, and that is part of the challenge. Child safe practice applies: parent or guardian permission, adult supervision, privacy protection and an inclusive setting. Ownership of your idea stays with you, and no job, funding or contract is promised. Track record. This is a new idea built on work Deals Colony has already documented. It has not been run yet.
